We are the claims adjustment organization of the DEKRA Group. We provide services mainly for insurance companies and self insurers, but also for leasing and other companies all over Europe.

We are active in the field of motor insurance, handling national and international claims, recoveries within the Green Card System and regarding the 4th Directive on Motor Insurances. Our Group’s activities also include technical, legal and medical expertises as well as the adjustment of claims of other types of insurances, such as general liability and property, both on national and international levels.

The cornerstones of the DEKRA Claims and Expert organization are the claims handling companies  Juan A. Calzado  Comisariado de Averías, the former BIRS-ISB Group (renamed in DEKRA Claims Services), the former German company ASA (presently called DEKRA Claims Services GmbH) and the former Bartok group (today DEKRA Claims and Expertise). These companies have several decades of experience in both national and international claims adjustment and thus have a solid reputation within the insurance industry. DEKRA Claims and Expert Services operates with its own offices in 17 countries and in a further 22 countries, through its partner network. The group co-operates closely with a large number of engineering, medical and legal specialists.
